Mission Statement
The purpose of Saint Susanna School is Total Catholic Education through excellence and spiritual growth. Together with parents, parish and community, we strive to educate the whole child in the process of life-long learning.

From the Principal
First, thank you for sending your children to our wonderful school. There have been many exciting events that have already happened in our school from caterpillars to butterflies and trips to Conner Prairie. It is hard to believe we have already been at school for a month. In celebrating our first month back to school, students may dress down on Friday, September 15th.
I have enjoyed getting to know and meet many of our families here at St. Susanna, and look forward to getting to know all of you. Please feel free to stop in and see me anytime I am in the office. Obviously scheduled meetings with parents, teachers, and staff preclude me always being available, however, feel free to call the office and set up an appointment if you prefer.
Also, remember that we are starting ISTEP testing Monday. Published results of last year’s testing categorized St. Susanna as exemplary by the Indiana State Board of Education. WAY TO GO!!! Again, thank you for a wonderful start of a new school year.
Ms. Tina Albin, Principal

Back to School News
The school uniform company will be back at Saint Susanna on Wednesday, November 8, in Zore Hall, from 3:00—6:00 p.m. They will be offering a 15% discount on sweatshirts that day, as well as being available for fittings and purchases of other uniform items. This is an excellent opportunity to try on uniforms to get the proper fit. Uniform code is posted in our current handbook. Please remember the uniform code states red and khaki items must be purchased through Educational Apparel.

Items from the previously held used uniform sale are still available for purchase. Please peruse the clothing hanging in Zore Hall in the next couple of weeks. Items remaining will be removed by the end of August. If you have questions, please contact Kim Copeland at 539-4312.

Lunch Cards
Prepaid lunch cards will be issued by the receptionists upon receipt of the printed order forms which are available at the front desk. A lunch card redeemable for 10 lunches costs $17.50. Checks are preferable for payment but cash will be accepted if EXACT amount only.

One Friday a month Saint Susanna School will sponsor a Mission Day. Students may wear appropriate "casual clothing" including jeans or sweatpants. In return for the privilege, students will pay $1 which, in turn, will be donated to a charitable cause. The Mission Days and benefactors are listed in the Parent Handbook.

Help Us to Recycle!
Saint Susanna School needs your help in recycling used printer cartridges. Save your cartridges over the summer and bring them to school in the fall in plastic or paper bags. We will earn cash and points for each cartridge submitted for recycling. Click the link to the right "Recycle & Redeem with Funding Factory" to see a list of accepted printer cartridges. Don't forget to ask your employer for their used cartridges, too.

Saint Susanna NCA Goals
All students will improve their writing skills across the curriculum.
All students will improve their problem-solving skills across the curriculum.
All students will participate in supplemental Catholic faith enrichment opportunities across the curriculum.
